No special tool is needed. To take a panel off, pop the center pin and the rivet comes out. Fresh rivets press in by hand in seconds.
Are push rivets reusable?
No. Removal deforms the legs, so always install a fresh rivet.
What hole size do these fit?
8 mm (5/16″) holes, with a combined panel stack of roughly 2–6 mm. The head is 15 mm. A 5/16″ drill bit that just slips through the hole confirms 8 mm; if your hole is 9 mm or 10 mm, these are not your clip.
How many rivets do I need?
