8mm Push Rivets
All of our push rivets are sized for an 8 mm (about 5/16") panel hole, so this page is the quickest way to see every style in one place: general-purpose 8 mm nylon fender clips, versions laid out by vehicle make, and clips for car fender liners, snowmobile hoods, dirt-bike plates, jet-ski panels and enclosed trailers. Each comes as a single rivet or in packs up to 1,000.
How to check that 8 mm is right. Pull one old rivet and measure the hole, not the rivet: an 8 mm drill bit or a 5/16" bit should slide through with little play. If the hole is clearly smaller (6-7 mm) or larger (9-10 mm), an 8 mm rivet will be loose or will not go in. Also check the total thickness of the panels you are joining; the rivet body needs to pass through both before the center pin spreads the legs. To remove an old rivet, pry up the center pin first, then lift the body out.
